Appeal Song for 2013 is the Regina Spektor song
The Call (No Need To Say Goodbye) and is sung by
The Poppy Girls.
The 5 young girls are daughters of men serving
in the Armed Forces. They were found by a
nationwide talent hunt.
The single they have recorded will be released
on Remembrance Sunday, November 10 2013.
They will also perform in front of the Queen and
a national TV audience at the Festival of
Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Poppy Girls are Megan Adams age 10, Bethany
Davy age 15, Alice Milburn age 13, Florence
Ransom age 10 and Charlotte Mellor age 17.
The are hoping the officila poppy day single
will reach number one in the charts and would

our Artist Teresa Scannella has been supporting
for years in memory of her mother who suffered
from the illness for years and was the
motivation behind her Poppy Fields
painting, which is featured on the video and CD
cover. 50% of the profit on
Art & Cards will go
to this worthwhile charity.
The Alzheimer's Society works to
improve the quality of life of people affected
by dementia in England, Wales and Northern
Many of the 25,000 Alzheimer's
Society members have personal experience of
dementia, as carers, health professionals or
people with dementia themselves, and their
experiences help to inform our work.
